- The applicant must be a national or permanent citizen of a developing country in the Global South.
- Applicants must not hold temporary or permanent residency visas for Turkey or any developed country.

How to Apply? TWAS-TUBITAK Fellowship Program 2025 Application
- To apply, candidates must create a profile on the TÜBİTAK Researcher Information System (ARBİS) platform, available online.
- Before starting the application, ensure that the information in ARBİS for both the applicant and their academic advisor(s) in Türkiye is up-to-date.
- Applications must be submitted online through the TÜBİTAK TYBS system within the specified dates in the call announcement.
- Upload all required documents to the application system. There is no need to send these documents by email or post.
- All documents must be in English. If they are in another language, include certified English translations.
- You can withdraw your application from the online system during the application period. After the period ends, a signed petition with the application year and period must be sent to BIDEB to withdraw your application. Once BIDEB receives the petition, they will update the application status.
